I worked for the NBD (Next Business Day) division on contract to the Post Office in central London but also attended some SBD (Same Business Day) and BT problems.. ServiceTec is the sole service provider for the entire desktop and server environment throughout The Post Office's Business Units. I then moved to the Rapid Action Team for some months before joining the permanent team working in the Department For International Development.

Worked on a self employed basis for a German advertising/marketing company attempting to establish an operation in Russia and the Ukraine. Researched the possibility of expansion into Austria and Central Europe for World Health Exchange, a health information provider. I worked on behalf of Ecofast SA researching the East European markets for them and establishing their operation in the UK. I set up and administered an Internet site for them.

Worked as a member of the Lotus Central Europe and Russia marketing team which involved organising exhibitions and other events, from the planning stage to dealing with the potential customers on the stands. I also had some responsibility for logistics

Returned to Iraq on the request of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Based in water department but involved, as member of humanitarian aid team, in all aspects of aid. Involved as UN Warden in planning for all security situations brought about by working and living as an alien in a war zone. Transferred to UNICEF when they continued following withdrawal of UNHCR. During this period I was employed by the Overseas Development Administration division of HM Governments Foreign Office and seconded to the UN Organisation.
